No Oatmeal, Oatmeal Recipe… *Promise you’ll thank me later*

Hey Guys! So, I was super bummed about the idea of not being able to eat oatmeal once I completed the Whole 30. It is not a part of the Paleo diet, which I am now trying to follow. For many reasons, oats and grains aren’t as great for the body as we have been told. Anyway, getting back to my no oatmeal depression…

I let my mega let down lead me to an amazing no oatmeal, oatmeal recipe that is not only Paleo friendly… it even tastes BETTER than normal oatmeal. Yes, better! Plus, it is suuuuper easy to make! Like running out of the door with two minutes to spare kind of easy. Look below for the recipe…

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mash your banana and add the Himalayan salt and cinnamon.
  2. Warm the coconut manna/butter in sauce pan over low heat.
  3. When it’s runny and warm remove from the heat and scoop it into the banana mixture.
  4. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

I legit purchase everything from Amazon. If you are like me, you can buy it here. Great deal, two pack for $20! Otherwise, I am sure you can find it in Whole Foods or another health food store.

The Whole 30 Intro… Welcome to your new and improved bod…

Sooo, I’m not typically the, “New Year, New Me” kind of person. However, I stumbled upon this incredible program three days ago. The Whole 30 challenge is not a diet, but a body reset. Over the last 6-7 months I have gone to the gym 3-5 times a week. I have seen great physical changes, but I still feel that my body isn’t running as optimally as it should.

While continued weight loss is my goal, my ultimate desire to complete the Whole 30 program is to get healthy from the inside out. This will be my first time doing the Whole 30, so I do not know the in’s and out’s of the program just yet. I will continue to read the book and start tomorrow, January 1, 2018.

If you would like to join me, I welcome you! The book can be purchased online or in bookstores. Over the next 30 days I will be vlogging my experience. Get ready for raw and honest feedback. Good days, hard days, opinions and etc. I can’t wait to have a healthier and happier year! As mentioned, I will be posting a new video about every week. Keep checking back in to see my progress and thoughts along the way! Love ya’ll and hope you and yours enjoy this new year and every one that follows
