Mondays…Monday, Monday, Monday. The poor day that technically did nothing to us, but yet we all hate it. Monday comes around every week, it always has and always will.
So, to make the oh-so-hated day of the week a little better, try following the eight steps below!
Make Your Mondays a Little Less Sucky…
1. Clear out your hamper
Another thing that no one other than Cinderella enjoys doing, buuuuut it will give you less work to do during the week. Making it a little better to deal with 🙂
2. De-junk your fridge
Grab anything that’s definitely gone bad or just all the leftovers you know you’re not going to eat. If you do a regular clean every week, it’ll always be quick and easy, whereas those monthly purges could get gross and take forever.
3. Clean your bag, girl!
De-cluterrizing your purse just makes you feel better. It gives me such a great feeling to be able to reach into my bag and be able to get what I want, without having to dig through random receipts, gum wrappers, loose change, and that random flyer the guy handed you on the way to work. Empty out all the unnecessary things you’ve collected and organize the important stuff so you know where everything is. It’ll make your life seem a little more together.
4. Get your closet together…
You totally have stuff to wear! It just may not seem like it when you have some of your clothes on the floor, your bed, under your bed, in the hamper and thrown into your closet. Get it together! Organizing your closet will allow you to be able to skip the annoyance of not knowing what to wear to work through out the week!
5. Get your groceries for the week
Grocery shopping on Sunday and planning your meals for the week will not only help you eat healthier, but it’ll also free you up from having to run back to the store every other day.
6. Snack Prep
Doing your snack prep for the week will keep you from looking like this little girl above. For whenever hunger strikes, all you have to do is simply reach in your fridge and grab your pre-made snickitty-snack.
7. Write down goals for the week
Make a list of things you want to accomplish this week! There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to look back after a long week and seeing the awesome things you completed!
8. YOU time
After laundry, grocery shopping, organizing and listing awesome goals for the week, now its time for YOU. Relax…take a bubble bath. Meditate, do your nails, chill by the tv, watch Sunday sports, whatever makes YOU happy! Here’s to happier Monday’s 🙂
Happy Sunday!
