Ahhhh, Fall. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Fall. It is my all time most FAVORITE season of the year. There are so many amazing things about it. From the fashions, to the weather, change of colors and most importantly the FOOD. This season, there seem to be some amazingly awesome foods that have gotten a fall make-over. Lets see what goodness the food gods have bestowed upon us…
::Fall Flavored Foods::
1. Pecan Pie M&M’S
I looooooooooooooooooove a good pecan pie. So that combined with an old fav HAS to be amazing. You can find them at Walmart for a limited time only, as they are only around until Halloween season. *Or before I buy them all*
2. Maple Flavored Bacon Jerky
My brother put me on to beef jerky a few years ago and I never turned back. While I don’t eat it frequently, I can’t stop when I do. Supposedly it’s like pancakes and bacon, minus the carbs — and far easier to transport. You can find this maple-bacon jerky at 7-Eleven stores in late October.
3. Hot Cocoa Cookie Dough
Like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I just lost my mind when I found out about this, literally. As soon as I am done typing this post, I will be running out to the grocery store to buy and review for you guys! Toll House’s new flavor features a chocolate dough with marshmallow filling and chocolate chips. You can find it in most grocery stores from October through December. *Ok, so I have to wait to do the review…grrrrr*
4. Pumpkin Spice Peeps
My friend, Dori, told me about these little guys getting all Fall-y on us. Peeps’ newest flavor is a pumpkin spice flavored marshmallow that is covered in sugar and dipped in white fudge. Ok, so ….did you not just drool right now?! HOLY GUAC !
5. Caramel Apple Pie Cookies
MMMM, this makes me feel all warm and cozy inside. These soft and chewy cookies are loaded with bits of apple, cinnamon and caramel. You can find them now in most grocery stores, orrrrr in my kitchen cabinets. *I need help, I know*
6. Pumpkin Spice Milano Cookies
I think I just found the perfect cookie to dip into your pumpkin spice latte…thank me later 😉
7. Pumpkin Pie Poptarts
These always remind me of being a kid. I loved pop tarts, whenever Mom let us have them. The gooey filling in these toaster pastries tastes just like pumpkin pie—and the sprinkle-speckled frosting tastes like sweet, sweet nostalgia.
Soooo, I think this post just gave me a sugar high…
Nonetheless, I will be trying most of these, because obvi they look AMAZING. Let me know what you guys think, does the yumminess of Fall appeal to your taste buds?
Happy Snacking!
