Yeezy Season 2 at NYFW… I guess my biggest question of the day would be, ” Why the F was this guy even allowed a Season 1 at NYFW?!?!” I for one am a HUGE proponent of talent being showcased, ONLY when there is actual talent involved. I can’t stand when celebrities, already famous for one thing, automatically get thrown into the world of other said talents, when they themselves are not even talented in that specific field. Hey, not every one is a multi-talented person, and there is nothing wrong with that. That’s why we were all blessed with different gifts, talents and abilities. Before I continue on this rant, I am going to get back to my point at hand, which is Kanye West at New York Fashion Week.
Ahhh, Kanye…it’s so funny that you should say that. Considering your whole line is nothing more than see through spandex, ripped up panty-hose and denim, and burlap sacks thrown carelessly over models that remind me of a popular show. Dammnit, what was the name of it??…

Looks appealing?! Let alone, New York Fashion Week appropriate. NYFW is the epitome, the absolute creme de la creme of all things fashion. This is where the fashion gods come to show the world what they have been working on for month and months, and blessing the world with. This is fashion’s shining beacon for god sakes!!!

And of course, in true asshole fashion, Kanye had held his show unexpectedly, which caused other shows to be pushed back. Do you know how many months of prep go into NYFW?! Apparently Kanye doesn’t care, because pulling that stunt caused an ACTUAL designer, Anne Bowen, to rearrange the date of the show for her streetwear collection, Nomad VII by Anne Bowen, because of West’s last-minute addition. “Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this,” she told Womens Wear Daily. “It’s like we are David and he is Goliath. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this.” Right on Anne!!!
You know, they say that kids are very in tune with things, things that even adults can’t pick up on. I don’t think its a coincidence that during both fashion shows Kanye has put on, North can’t seem to sit still, crack a smile, and strums up a good ol’ tantrum…
I know North, I swear you’re the only one in that family with any fashion sense and a good head on your shoulders. *I’m super obsessed with this little girl btw* 😉
I guess another fitting question would be, why would the world want to take any fashion advice from a man who dresses like this…
