Man’s rejection, is God’s protection…
So, I applied for this job I was REALLY interested in. Like, the kind of job you wake up with a smile on (maybe), head out the house with a positive vibe and pull into the parking lot without wanting to kill someone!? Yeah… that kind of job.
It was in the field I am passionate about, good pay, Fortune 500 company and the list goes on. Well, things didn’t quite go the way I had hoped and it came in the form of a rejection letter/email. No matter who you are, how successful you are or how confident you are; rejection just sucks. Period. Sometimes, it will hurt more than others, but it is frustrating and hurtful for a while.
I shared my upsets and frustrations with my Mom, (because you’re never too big for your Mommy) and she gave me the most simple, but powerful response that will stick with me forever.
